How to reset the FMS?

In the manual for the GNLU-910A it says that after engine shutdown and parking at a gate the FMS would automatically reset and delete the previous flight plan. However this seems not to be working in the current version of the RJ (v0.1.3). Even turning the plane off completely doesn't reset the FMU.

Is this a bug or how can I delete the flight plan and every input I made from the previous flight?

I've not had to do this as I usually restart a flight fully from main menu (especially on Xbox) but what if you go to the RTE page and enter a new Origin Airport? That usually resets things from a route/ legs perspective.
