FPS update patch
-
Thank you for the amazing plane!! However, can we know if the FPS performance optimization improvement patch is coming? When I disable the cabin its much better but still not the best. I Have RTX 4090 + I9 14900K and its the heaviest plane compared to other devs. I think there are too many problems with 2024, and improving the plane for 2020 should be a priority at the moment.

With that hardware, what is the the threshold you are using for performance, i have a 4070ti and a 14900 and i have great performance with it in both sims at 4k, right at 60 fps (thats where i set the target). Are you looking for more fps or maybe a smoother experience, seems like you shouldnt be seeing any performance issues with that setup. (In my experience with other aircraft this one is the same as PMDG and Inibuilds in my opinion)

Our development team is investigating various methods of improving FPS/performance in the RJ. Fixes and improvements to FPS/performance are always an ongoing process during the development and post-release phases of any project, so there is unlikely to be a single "patch" that will see a significant change in that area. Therefore, it's not something we would be able to place a specific time frame on. Rest assured though, this is an area our development team is investigating and we plan on including various improvements in future updates to the product.

I too have an RTX 4090 with an inferior CPU to you (i9-12900KS) and I get very good FPS with the RJ100, and that's on Ultra and 4K settings.
If you are getting "not the best" fps with your set up then you need to investigate the cause being closer to home, as I am not convinced it's the aircraft.

I understand what you say, however If i load the same scenery and same conditions, and use different planes, RJ and iFly are the top two heaviest on frames. If all my planes were heavy than yes, Its something on my end. But its not the case. It's for sure flyable and enjoyable and good, but it needs to be more optimized. I am not the only one voiced this.
