    Hi

Asking more out of curiosity more than anything else.

During every flight, during cruising, I often hear either a single "bing" or the "bing bong" sounds as if the cabin crew are contacting me. I am not pressing any buttons to make this happen and the flight is smooth, no turbulence.

What are the cabin crew doing? Or is it just the simulation of passengers calling for an attendant?

    Thank you.

Yes, it's a simulation of the cabin crew using the intercom between the forward and aft galleys, passengers calling them etc. You will be able to see the corresponding call lights on the galley handsets too. That can be enabled or disabled using the auto cabin crew option on the EFB.

The only cabin crew to flight deck crew calls are following the 'seats for takeoff' and 'seats for landing' announcements.

Awesome. Thank you Martyn. I’m having such a blast with the RJ100.
