Got to try it in 2024

I had the opportunity to copy and paste the RJ into the community folder for FS2024 last night, and it showed up in the game. I was the able to load it into a flight, and it looked fine. It wasnt functional due to it saying license problem on the EFB from the copy and paste, but all in all it loaded in just fine.
Same with a EGLC scenery from 2020, worked.

P.S. If anyone is looking for how to move your community folder in 2024, its under marketplace-my library and then in the right top corner, below the main settings cog, you will see a smaller one next to the small search box, click it, and you can choose where you want your 2024 Community folder to live (instead of your AppData folder on C.

Thanks for your report! In 2020, when you first install, it will ask you where you want not only the community folder but also the "official" folder. Hopefully, the official folder can be relocated, too, as my C drive is almost full.

Hopefully, soon an updated installer will fix the license transfer to 2024.

Yeah it moves the official folder when you move the Community one as well to the same directory.

Just out of curiousity is the license tied to the folder you installed the aircraft in, or your system ID, incase i want to move my 2020 folder to another drive during computer space rearranging.

I tried to set another Community folder. Conformed, but after restarting 24, it reverted back…

There are a bunch of hacks, but if you use the program to change the location of the folder, it seems to stick.
