Got to try it in 2024

Thanks for your report! In 2020, when you first install, it will ask you where you want not only the community folder but also the "official" folder. Hopefully, the official folder can be relocated, too, as my C drive is almost full.
Hopefully, soon an updated installer will fix the license transfer to 2024.

I'm having trouble trying to get it to install into 2024 instead of 2020. I even found and deleted the license in the registry and it did ask me for the license again, but never asked where I wanted the file installed. It just automatically finds my 2020 community folder and installs there. This was using simmarket product.
Is there a workaround or would I have to uninstall 2020 to get it to ask or look at 2024?

The product is officially not supported yet for 2024 based on a recent announcement, until some updates for compatibility are made, i dont think it will work right now regardless how you try to install it (maybe you can who knows). Im sure they will get a 2024 friendly version out as soon as they can once they have some time to figure out what needs changed from 2020.

Neither. It was posted elsewhere it looks for an MSFS .cfg file to know where to point. If you remove MSFS 2020, it won't install at all.
Nothing is looking for 24 yet, you have to install it for 20 and then manually drag it over to the 24 community folder in order to try it.
That said, apparently the license feature isn't happy with 24, among other things.
