Is FS TRAFFIC abandoned?

We have been working on the XBox version since it was released to MarketPlace on PC - before that, in fact. It has cost us a huge amount of development time that could have been devoted to other aspects of the program. Numerous builds have been tested along with various strategies to try and get performance on the S to an acceptable level - and no, it can't be released for the X version alone. We waited patiently for the much vaunted SU-15 improvements to performance. No joy.
Please don't say we have abandoned this program. That really is quite insulting. -

Yes, but it's in the queue behind a general update for the program and console compatibility.

@Derek 3 months later and still no word from you guys. I guess this project IS abandoned. Not a chance to have an MSFS 2024 update anyways

Sorry. Somewhat distracted by other release from us and also one from Microsoft. We are not a large team and have to prioritise what we do.
There is an update in progress for the MSFS2020 version of FS Traffic. We are also working on a GA pack (models being built) and - as with all our other MSFS2020 titles, we will be looking at the work needed to get them available in 2024.
FS Traffic - since about 2001 - has been our best selling title, so it would be unwise to abandon it. However, it is a lot more work than a single aircraft or airport, hence the time required. -

I was really looking forward to purchasing FsTraffic and did so asap after release. Looking back now and after all the dev promises it feels like a product that was never really intended to go anywhere and now FS2024 is out will it ?
To be honest it’s damaged my trust in Justflight and made me think much more carefully about which products I buy.
I would certainly never buy another traffic type add on from you guys if we ever get any more updates or the promised GA pack I’ll eat my hat.

Interesting opinion. We would disagree - this is where our best selling title for FS2020 actually went:
https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/articles/17000131322-fs-traffic-msfs-changelogThere is another planned content update for the FS2020 version. That's been delayed because we've had to divert our limited resources into some other work, but it's still in progress.
As for FS Traffic and FS2024, we've been looking at the new sim and will take a view on what we can provide for it traffic-wise in due course.

Is there still going to be the add-on for GA aircraft?

It's definitely still planned and in development, but changes to the FS2020 engine have made it more difficult to achieve. Much will depend on the commercial potential in 2024.

Well over a year and about eight updates after it was released. Not brave - just pointing out that it went 'somewhere' after we released it.
