Is there any way to add new airlines to the list myself? Been adding TWA and Northwest planes to my schedule, but when I put in TWA, it comes back TWAI Air.

@cwh1977 Yes, new airlines can be added to each aircraft type in the Traffic Control Centre. I'll list some steps below for how you can do that:

    1. Go to Aircraft Manager > Liveries
    2. Choose the aircraft type that you want to add the airline to
    3. Right-click on the livery table and click 'Add New Entry".
    4. An 'Add Livery' pop-out window will open, allowing you to add the new airlines details, and add any liveries.

    I hope that helps.

    Mark,

Thanks for your reply. I understand how to add them into the liveries of planes. I meant on the schedule. When using "Create New Schedule", I'll put in TWA into the "Carrier" box. But when I look at the schedule after adding the flight, the carrier is listed as TWB and the callsign as TWAI Air. I can manually change it on the schedule. Was just wondering if I could add a specific airline to the carrier list so I didn't have to manually change every new TWA route I insert. Thanks again for for your previous reply.

@cwh1977 TWA doesn't exist in the Summer 2022 or Winter 2022/23 schedules used by FS Traffic, so by default, entering TWA on the 'Create New Schedule' pop-out window won't work as there is no matching airline in the database. FS Traffic will likely find the closest match to the carrier entered, which in this case is T'Way Air (ICAO: TWB).

For it to work the way you would like it to, you would have to first add the TWA carrier into the database. You can add a new carrier in the Aircraft Manager > Liveries tab by choosing an aircraft type, and then right-clicking on the table and clicking 'Add Entry'.

For example, if you create a new entry for the 744 aircraft type with 'TWA' as the carrier, ICAO code, etc. then you will be able to add TWA to the carrier field when creating a new schedule.

    Mark,

Makes total sense. It's not too hard to do it that way, just adds an extra step. Really appreciate you taking the time to explain. Not many programmers take the time and reply as fast as you. Thanks again.

Did this end up working for you? When I go to add a new airline, nothing appears in the actual simulator itself, even though I can add the airlines to the database.
