Autopilot Glideslope Not Working
-
Hello Just Flight Team,
Absolutely loving the Vulcan in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Another quality Add-on by the team that's in my hangar along with the 146 and F28 :)I'm having one small issue with the autopilot though that I was hoping someone might be able to help me with.
I've been doing the tutorial flight that's outlined in the manual and having issues with the Autopilot Glideslope function.
As soon as I pull up the Glideslope switch the aircraft starts to pitch up sharply and will continue up until it stalls.Some More Info:
EGVA
Runway 27ILS Freq set in Nav 1 via EFB = 111.10
Nav Selector = G.P
Pitch Selector = ApproachBoth Heading and Heading Index set at 270 Degrees
At 3800 Feet by GIVIT
Confirmed once in range the Beam and Glidepath flags pop up in the Director
Autopilot = on
Autopilot = Engaged
Glide = Pulled upAs soon as I pull up the glide switch the plane starts pitching up regardless of the glidepath on the Director been level or below.
Aircraft continues to climb sharply until it stalls. Have to dis-engage autopilot to quickly takeover but sometimes after it stalls the auto trim gets disengaged as well so even though I push full forward on the joystick the aircraft is very slow to go nose down.I haven't tried it at any other airports so I'm wondering if its an ILS issue at that particular airport in the sim? Or am I doing something wrong?

No one’s had this issue?
Or am I doing something that’s really obviously wrong? :(Worth contacting Just Flight Support with this and they can look into it for you.

I also had the same problem once - shutting off the autopilot and resetting it on the copilot side panel worked.
I regard this as a detail adding to the realism of one of the first autopilots ever. ;)
