We are one year later and the issue has not been solved yet. At random there is no traffic. Sometimes there is....sometimes there is not. Sometimes there are only go arounds because AI is spamming and sometimes airports are ghosttowns. I often fly the same route and some days are good, some days are bad. And that is not good for 36 euro's software.

Had this issue happen to me since I started using FS traffic this month and the only thing that worked for me was the following:

        1. Select destination in MSFS
        2. Click on FS traffic from the toolbar and wait until it populates the destination, then click confirm
        3. Wait a few seconds then close the pop up

I think a lot of people in this forum said these steps would work but have seen others say it didn’t work, so just sharing my own experience here.

Now I need to figure out how to reduce traffic at arrival (lol) as I couldn’t land in one out of two times due to excessive traffic (one plane approaching with me and one on the runway sayintentions ATC cleared me to land on)

Hello. I bought this add-on this week, I have version 1.0.8 installed on FS20. I have made several flights and always followed the instructions (enter the destination and so on, yada-yada-yada) but I don't see any traffic at the destination airport. I also don't see much traffic during the flight, FSHud doesn't talk to almost anyone...

The models are very beautiful, as are the effects (I love the landing lights at night!!!), but the rest has been a disappointment. First of all, even before installing the software and reading the manual, I asked myself, “Why do I have to open a menu and enter the destination airport? Why complicate things?” Anyway... I've read in several threads on this forum that there is a lack of staff for such a big project... so hire more people! Then don't create so many add-ons!!!! Solve the problems first and then move on to something else.

I'm so sorry that this software, which promises to be so spectacular, has these flaws, excuse the term, stupid flaws. Things that make no sense at all...

            @otreblA

Thanks for your feedback. Not sure about the staff thing - this product was released quite some time ago for MSFS2020. New models were added in April and the most recent update as part of the FS2024 upgrade was in July . Can you point us in the direction of the posts about staff and we'll endeavour to look into that.

Meanwhile, the sort of problems you seem to be encountering won't be resolved by staff. Your best bet would be to contact Just Flight support where they can look into things for you:

Hello @Derek. Thank you for your response.

I have read several topics and messages on this forum regarding FSTraffic, and at least once, it must have been a message from a few months ago or maybe a year or more, a staff member mentioned that corrections and updates were not coming out as quickly because “there was a lack of staff.” I know that this product has had several updates and even the addition of more aircraft models, but this specific problem of the lack of aircraft at the destination airport seems to have not been resolved yet, and I have this problem too... although later I will test new settings in FSHud (traffic limiter) to see if that has anything to do with it and if it solves the problem.

              I'll report back later...

Just to be clear, the main reason(s) for this occuring are to do with things like choice of flight, set up of destination airport, flight timetables, aeroplane chosen, how the selctions and choices are made when setting up FS Traffic and so on. It's not a specific issue that can be 'fixed' as such - but Just Flight support may be able to help you find out what is occurring here.

Again, if you can find this stuff about staff I'd be interested to see it. We will often explain that certain projects will have to wait behind others in the queue for attention, but I'm not sure anyone would use the excuse of staff shortages. It may be that there has been some confusion caused by a post from myself or Scott. If that's case we will do our best to correct it.

My goodness, I may have misunderstood or expressed myself poorly. But I think I read something about that (the staff thing). Where? It was here in the FSTraffic subforum in a post from maybe over a year ago... Can we forget about it?

My last flight not only had huge numbers of planes at the destination airport, but also in the skies during the two-hour journey between A and B, where there was a lot of air traffic. The only “ unusual” thing was that the departure airport, on the other hand, was unusually empty...

As I wrote before, I think it had to do with the FSHud traffic limiter. This time, I left it almost “unlimited,” and the result was what I saw.

@Derek I'm not crazy or a liar. I read a post referring to the placement of staff on other projects due to various factors. Now, I have no idea WHERE that post is, it's in this FSTraffic subforum, but I don't know in which thread. It must be a post that's over a year old...

I didn't say you were. Just that we're not really the sort of business that has 'staff'. From time to time our small teams will work on all sorts of different projects. Sometimes they will impact each other - and I'm guessing this is what you must be referring to - but, most of the time, the team dedicated to one project generally don't work on others at the same time. We also have a number of freelancers. You suggested that your problem with FS Traffic may have been due to a lack of staff and I am just trying to explain that is unlikely to be the case. However, it's certainly true that if we are releasing a big title or a significant update in week 1, another similar thing will need to wait until week 2. To be honest, we wouldn't want to employ enough 'staff' to prevent this - they would spend the rest of the time twiddling their thumbs.

With respect to Traffic, the last update was in July, as I mentioned above. The work on it since then has mainly been done as and when, and mostly involves looking into the various updates released for MSFS2024 to see if there is any chance of getting it to work with X-Box S. So far, no good.

Gettring back to your issue, if you contact Just Flight support with details of the problem they will certainly try and resolve it for you.
