On the XPlane version I can use the TGT hold feature at FL300 with typical load around 790-795 to hold MACH .73 and it works great.

What I've seen in the MSFS version for similar load/FL is around 600 TGT or below is required so TGT hold just doesn't work since lower limit is 600. This seems incorrect, why would they be different?

I don't know about the XPlane version as I do not have it, but I also noticed the low TGT in cruise and TGT hold on the lowest setting isn't always able to get the speed below the upper limit.

Same here. Flying 22,000 feet, -30 OAT, my TGT varied between 580° & 605°. On the cool side for sure

Not sure if this is useful or whatever, but I've been setting the TGT myself to maintain about .72 or .73 Mach, and I've not really had much trouble with the numbers. Have my TGT set to 720 heading west atm, and pushing into the wind (48knt headwind, OAT of -28). When I was headed East (~38knt tailwind) maintaining about similar Mach numbers I was running 645 TGT. So perhaps tailwinds are messing things up?

We're constrained somewhat by the MSFS FDE but we are closely simulating TGTs that are based on real-world data and feedback from our 146 pilots, and the TGTs will be higher in v0.1.3.
