The EFB isn't accepting fuel/weight by keyboard
-
Hi guys!
I cant get the EFB to accept any fuel/weight by editing the fields manually using the keyboard. The editing part works: I can click the field and input the numbers using the keyboard but as soon as i hit the Enter key, the field restarts to 0000.
Is this happening to someone else?

Yup. Same symptoms.

I think I had this yesterday. It may be that my fix was not to press enter but click away from the box? Will try again tomorrow, I certainly managed it the one time I tried after some confusion.
-
@xender Yeah it is a total mess for me. Sometimes it all switches to 0000 but when I click the other tank the first will show the number I typed in. Really messy.
-
Ufff, so glad that im not the only one. Hopefully we will see a fix soon.
-
@xender Yeah it'd be nice if it locked the keyboard like on the notes page and had it not flash about and be weird about accepting input or not, or if it added a little number pad for us to type into it with.

Phew, I though I was the only one!
Entering ZFW/fuel is too hit and miss, hopefully this will be revised. -
And if they are going to improve the EFB it would be nice if they disable the numerical keys for MSFS at that moment, because when I enter the cargo or fuel in the EFB my default ATC start to yell and give instructions. Very annoying when you are on VATSIM
Oh I did disable voice volume in MSFS right away, but disabling interaction with MSFS while on the EFB would be great anyway.

I second this, when I start typing with the numbers I am switching cameras all over the place due custom keybinds.

I think a useful improvement to the EFB loading page would be some kind of "OK" or "Enter" button after each user entry field. Then, from a UX perspective, you can prepare your numbers, get them entered properly and then tell it to execute once completed.

Thanks for all the feedback.
We are working to fix the input issues now.
