With the engine started, without priming as I cannot get the primer to unlock. The enging starts fine. But when I come to turn off the prop keeps turning over and never stops. Thats throttle to lowest, mixture full lean cutoff, fuel off and mags off. And still it keeps turning. Same happens with the Arrow III and Arrow IV Turbo. Also the ammeter doesn't make sense. With Alternator on no current flow shown. Turn on avionics (GNS530) and the current shows around 35A. A 35A draw with the alternator on soesn't make sense let alone the amount it's drawing for some electronics. Any ideas.

@wrongway The prop turning is an MSFS issue caused by wind in live weather. See these threads:

@sender46 Thats very interesting, I never thought of the weather side of things. I did a fair bit of experimenting yesterday to try and pin it down and came to a different conclusion. Which may mean more than live weather might be at play here. I found this only happened when I had enhanced airport third party scenery installed, in particular EGNH. Also one location on this airfield had a different effect on the engine. It wouldn't start no matter what I tried. Even choosing ready for takeoff. Remove the third party scenery enhancements and the problem disappeared. So it may not only be the weather. But as you think, I am more inclined to think it's an MSFS issue.
