When I get to the pre take off config checks and press the config button I get an audible warning and red light for engine 1. This persists until rotation. I have followed the check lists and procedures from the tutorial flight. Any ideas why this is happening.

    Hi John,

It sounds like there are two issues here.

The take-off configuration horn should only be triggered by these conditions: https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/articles/17000111825-why-is-the-take-off-configuration-horn-being-triggered-when-i-advance-the-thrust-levers-

Is the red light for engine 1 on the MWS panel (centre instrument panel)? Is it the low oil pressure light?

    Regards,
    Martyn

    Hi Martyn.
Sorry, but it is not engine one warning. But I don't know what it is as I can't read it. It is further down the panel, about third row up and on the left.

    Hi again.
I have just found out that in says CONFIG in red. So any ideas as to what I have not configured? Any advice and or help gratefully received.

    Hi again.
Solved it! I have Alpha Bravo throttles and I had not made the speed brake/lift spoiler sensitive enough and it was ever so slightly out. But all good now. Still have not figured the FMC out.John Caselton
