New problem has emerged, the AC once in the air, will start to turn about 20-30 degrees to the left, autopilot has not been engaged.

However, once it is engaged, it will then turn to the right, and start going to the ground.

Simple flight plan, from KHEG to KJAX, with a waypoint at JA, going to runway 8

Have tried at different airports same result.

It was not doing this in version 6 :)

Is there a way to uninstall V7 and go back to V6?

I was able to uninstall V7, put V6 back in. Same behavior. I am perplexed!

Just curious?? Weather conditions....winds..etc?...have you adjusted to the rudder trim to compensate IF there are any cross winds?? This happened to me then I realized they modelled the rudder trim system. Just a thought.

It's not the weather, some flights are in clear weather. No cross winds (not that could do what it is doing, lol)

However, I think I am close to narrowing down the problem. Once I have done more testing to see if I am right, I will post what I have found :)

I m a beginner and experienced the same you described. My AC is turning left and I m always Compensate ..

@Precog The aircraft wanting to bank left is a realistic reaction to the opposite effect of the direction of the prop spinning.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

So the only solution is always to compensate with the joystick or is there any other option ?

I just started 2 days ago so I’m not aware of all about flight sim 😀

@Precog no not necessarily the only solution. There is the rudder trim. This will help a bit but not 100%.

Here’s a simple explanation of couple aviation terms. With your head...

Look up look down, this is pitch

Look left look right, this is yaw

Tilt your head left or right, this is roll (or bank)

So the left turning your seeing is really a bit of left roll from the prop, right? So applying a bit of right rudder (the rudder controls yaw...L and R but not really the roll) it can help a bit. Some planes will also have an aileron trim (ailerons are what make the plane bank/roll L and R) which are more helpful, but this plane doesn’t have that so long story short, yes, you have to always manage the plane.

Being new to flight sims be patient, there’s a lot to learn!
