On the compass it currently shows a heading of 120, but on the primary HSI indicator, it's saying I'm on a heading of 060.

I've read that there is a compass drift simulated which means you'll have to always adjust the direction indicator. But that shouldn't happen if you're using HSI instead of DI.

Go to the EFB, switch to DI, adjust it to match the correct heading, and then switch back to HSI. That should fix it.
But since I've read the drift sometimes (wrongfully) affects the HSI as well, you'll have to keep an eye on it.

Ohh okay I didnt know the drift was simulated, but yeah you're right it shouldn't be happening with a HSI unless the HSI is faulty in some way

You can also just press “D” to correctly remove drift. Shouldn’t have to do that on HSI, but it’s easier than switching back to DGI then back to HSI.

@Shifor Not all HSIs are slaved, so it most definitely could drift.
