BAe 146 Professional P3D v5 FMS/AP Issues

Re-installed a few times still no click spots on FMS to even turn it on. I am wondering if the flight1 GTN750 will work. This is the very first just flight product at launch I have ever had a serious problem with.
@Oskar3058 this is exactly the same issue i am having
-
v1.02 still unflyable. No FMC click spot. FMC window does not open. Cannot even turn this on. All I am being told in my ticket is to download the lastest update that has no FMC fixes in it? GREAT!

3 flights today with the FMS. Its unusable unfortunately. It simply doesn't stay on course and deviates from the flight path from waypoint to waypoint.
The ILS is finicky. The LOC captures very late, just over the glide path in my case, however the DM reader show it is alive 20nm out or so.
G/S on and off issues with this, seems to drop off sometimes during approach randomly.
For now a full FMS flight isn't really worth it until a fix and the ILS needs fixing up as well it seems.
Good news is I have had no CTDs on multiple leg flights from both night and day flying. With relatively high settings. On that front she's great.

@capt_jonesy same here

Another one:
- Doesn't capture the localizer (V/L), turns away (to the left) into the nirvana
- If only GSL is selected (while using heading mode, to avoid the above), the same thing happens
Flightdirector tells the same story, even while trying to do it all manual, the F/D turns you away from the localizer.
When approaching Minimums the F/D looked alright again, but wasn't keen to re-enable the autopilot to check if it would follow at this point in time.

I can confirm that, same issue here. Even of the LOC intercept angle is 30 degrees, plane turns away from localizer. Support ticket already opened.

We are already looking into the font issue that some people are encountering so no need to report that one. A fix will be made available ASAP.

For those having issues with either the FMC not working or the Font showing larger than it should be could you please try the following file
https://justflight.sharefile.com/d-s89ff38160e2c4aacaafb2d6a6fe44147
This needs to go in the following location: \SimObjects\Airplanes\JF_146-100\panel\
Please do not overwrite the file but either delete or back up the old version first and then place the file from the zip in its place.
Once done you can then test the font and FMC usage and if you can report back here with the following information.
- are you running P3D as an administrator?
- Which Edition and version of Windows are you running?
- What is the full version number of P3D you are using? (this can be found in your add/remove programs of Help>About in P3D

@Craig-Haskell now, the font seems to be fine on my end.
Thanks! -
I've done a handful of flights so I'll list down what is reoccurring in addition to the above:
- Trim setting for take off is in the correct green band, however rotation needs significant pull back on the yoke to lift off and a lot of trimming right after to keep the Avro on the right pitch, I get a lot of ballooning because of it, and the elevator on inspection also looks fairly high even though its in the green zone. Have tried with different weights and variants, same issue.
- Quite sensitive to pitching up and down inputs, I will try and adjust my settings but this has not been an issue on the various other Payware addons I own.
- On approach the plane lost the G/S 500ft before landing and the warning "GLIDESLOPE" just kept repeating all the way down with no where to turn it off, no annunciators light up either, it was just audible constantly repeating track till landing.
Suggestions:
4. GSX profile: not sure if its done or only for the PAX but the cargo variant isn't setup right.
5. Cargo door opens like a spring, can that be slowed down?
6. The FMS is fairly old and upon page selection in the sim it instantly changes, IRL it takes a second, can this be rendered to be more realistic?
7. Short key for the torch effect, really handy tool, just wish it could be assigned to a button.she is still a lot of fun to learn and fly still, will do a YouTube video flight this week.
kind regards

Please could you supply me with the 3 points below:
- are you running P3D as an administrator?
- Which Edition and version of Windows are you running?
- What is the full version number of P3D you are using? (this can be found in your add/remove programs of Help>About in P3D

Running as admin yes
Windows version 20h2
P3dv5.12 etc
Also if I put the flight1 GTN750 into the panel. Something in the panel is stopping that being powered up.
I tried it in p3dv5... didn’t work
Updated to 5.1 etc...still not working
I hope that helpsCraig y-s

@Martyn Regarding the DTO issue, I think I know what the FMC is doing.
It looks like it draws a line from the last passed waypoint to the new waypoint. Can work, but mostly creates an issue. Especially if you're doing two directs in sequence. -
I don't want to be too quick in my opinion of the last update. But what I noticed is that with at TO weight well below limits en the aircraft well trimmed and configured, taking off was impossible this time. The aircraft stuck to the runway till there was no runway left. What I noticed as well, but only in a glance, so correct me if wrong, it seems the heading selector is again connected to the Course on the HSI. At least this time I could talk to the ATC while crashing.

@Elientje This information is a little bit vague to determine an issue with takeoff performance. Do you have the following details?
-Aircraft TOW
-N1% Ref used
-V-speeds used
-Flap setting
-Runway length
-Runway elevation
-Temperature
-Wind component
-Pressure setting
-Anti Ice On/Off**It's impossible to make an analysis on the take off performance without the above as a minimum.
Regards,
JL

@Jumbolino No, I didn't gather this information. I will try this take-off again and see how the aircraft performs. When the same happens, I will give the requested information.
