Very Slow ATS System

Hi,
I have noticed with the Fokker that the Thrust Levers move quite/very slowly.. So much so that, for example, on descent the aircraft will overspeed. There are also high rates of descent and climb as the aircraft tries to catch the speed. I appreciate this is an old aircraft but to me it is very unusual to be this slow.. Is this correct? Has anyone else experienced this?

Super slow in real life as well and yes the autopilot will prioritize items over certain things such as speed over vertical speed with the use of elevator. If you tell it to go from idle descent to 300 IAS itll plunge the nose in IAS elevator. It is a limitation of the time the aircraft was designed.

@JabbyJabara Hello. Seeing your past conversations and from what I can see you have former or current real world experience on this plane.
I wanted to ask you, since you said the ATS isn't very good in real life, at what point in the flight do you usually take manual control of the throttle? It would be good to know the real world limitations so that we can then, instead of asking the developers to "fix it", accept it for what it is.

@neinnunb currently operating the aircraft. The funny truth is that the ATS is fully capable of handling day to day operations in normal conditions. From pulling the TOGA triggers at take off to arriving 50ft over the threshold. We accept the lag as operators.
The only times we would need to apply manual control is a failure of auto throttle channels, clear air turbulence (large changes in head or tailwind) and windshear on approach. Even then on approaches as pilots we operate with ATS still engaged and we help it react a little quicker with manual assistance.
Because as simmers we do not have a mechanical linkage to our throttles - maybe the Boeing Thrustmaster has it I do not know - you cannot feel the changes in throttle either which you can in the real aircraft.
My advice for MSFS is leave the ATS on and if you see the trend line on the speed indicator moving away from the speed you have selected is to override the throttle and push or pull to reduce the lag reaction of the auto flight computer.
