Hi, I'm an experienced livery designer and have been tasked by a local NZ aero club who flies PA38 Tomahawks to create liveries for their cuurent fleet.
Whilst it would be difficult to create all versions of layout in the cockpit as there are so many variations I'm wondering if it is possible to hide the current registration from displaying. This area seems to be a decal & is not shown that way on any of the aircraft the aeroclub operates. Ideally I'd like to be able to hide this decal totally so that the panel area behind it becomes available to add different signage. Look forward to your response.

It's not possible to remove that registration placard entirely. The cockpit registration placard utilises the MSFS dynamic tail number logic with the following priorities:

      1. It will use any custom registration the user has entered in the Tail Number field in the main menu.
      2. If no custom Tail Number has been entered in the main menu (field empty), the registration placard will use the registration listed in the atc_id field of the aircraft.cfg.

      Hope that helps.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply, understand the situation.....thought this maybe what's happening in that area and not possible to remove entirely. Cheers, Ross
