Holy cow! I haven't seen that screenshot before and that's exactly what I was hoping for! Hello, virtual cargo feeder ops! Finally, not just "imaginging" that the boxes, pallets are there, or "thinking" of my passengers as if they were cargo. Nope; proper cargo! It will be awesome! And the new turboprop simulation will make it a joy to operate! I bought the Bonanza a few days ago and love the TP variant a lot, the sounds are super immersive - it will be awesome to have a "big" turboprop soon - I have no doubt the sounds will not disappoint either!

Until this moment I thought it's the King Air I am most excited about but I think it's the Caravan! 🙂

@kityatyi And just in case you didn't see the article that screenshot was part of, here is a link. There is also a short "What's New?" PDF that you might be interested in, though some of the claims might actually be out of date and have improved ever further by now. Enjoy, and feel free to ask any more questions 🙂

Nope, haven't seen them either, thank you! Super Cargomaster included! Hell yeah! 🙂 I am already thinking about my "imaginary" feeder cargo operations, with potential routes, hubs, etc. Truly, this aircraft was the missing link. We already have large cargo aircraft, many different types (777, A300, 727, 737, MD11, etc.) we have all kinds of passenger and GA aircraft, but this kind of cargo ops was not entirely possible realistically (the PA12 or the Kodiak are sort of in this league yet not entirely), unless a lot of "imagining" was also imvolved.

The Caravan will be the first such dedicated aircraft, purpose-built for this kind of ops. Of course, not limited to cargo, although I will use it 80% cargo, 20% pax ops, probably. The hype is real! 🙂

@Black-Square you've mentioned some news would come this week + the preview manual. I'm counting the days (therefore I know there still are way too many days left of the week, haha) and was wondering which day can we expect to grab a preview copy of the manual? I guess I'm quite hyped about this upcoming release. 🙂

@kityatyi I never make promises for specific days, mainly because it depends on the Just Flight team's availability too, but I will say that I just finished the last piece of the puzzle, so all that remains is a final proof read and packaging it all up for you 🙂

Standing by for the download, whenever it becomes accessible. I will then print out and laminate the normal checklists from it at work to be readily available for the day the Caravan releases. 🙂

@kityatyi depends on the nbr of people proof reading a 200 + pg manual no? Simultaneously beta testing also going on.

I assume there will be no Caravan manual this week. 😞

@django1489 Everything is all ready to go, I just don't like to rush things. I'm sure this goes without saying, but when I'm planning on releasing a news update with screenshots, the complete store pages, and the manual all at once, there is a lot that needs to be checked over. Much like releasing anything to the public, that last 5% of work at the end is often more like 30-40% of the drudgery. Thanks for your continued excitement. It always makes the slow part at the end a little more enjoyable. 🙂

@Black-Square i totally agree with your line of thought. And umpteen respects for being a one man army (as far as my knowledge goes). Good things take time and no rush is a sign of a thorough professional. Thats what i was telling him/her that even a speed-read book takes 30pgs a day for a seasoned reader. When we speak of manuals you cant really speed read. Additionally theres a lot of numerical data in it. We are well aware of the reputation of your work and thats what we love. That should remain of course and then obviously that kind of work takes time.

P.S: that last line of yours was a little misleading lol
