EXTERNAL AC DISCONNECTED YET IT SHOWS AS AVAILABLE

After landing, I shut down everything. I mean everything. I disconnected the GPU as well. And yet, behold, the green EXT AC PWR AVAILABLE light illuminates and if I turn the EXT AC switch to ON, things come to life. But why, when the GPU isn't connected?

Is the jetway connected? I'd theorized that's what the lightning bolt symbol by the door meant, but only fly the 300QT so I'm never connected to a jetway.
