MSFS 2024. Cannot get the 530 to work

I have installed and run the Arrows in 2024. Everything seems to work just fine except I cannot get the 530 to power on. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but there is no display. I’ll try it in 2020 later today.

Does the same issue occur when starting a flight on the runway?

I have the same issue with the arrow for MSFS2020 as well as the GNS430 and GPS100 is also black. I can get the GPS 100 to come on only when I select the ready for take off in the EFB. I even reloaded MSFS2020 and still no joy. The GNS530/430 works fine in the default C172 model. I've cranked the volume on the GNS530/430 to 11. So it not due to lack of trying ;) to put power on.

@Martyn So far I’ve only tried from Cold and Dark. Also, the AP doesn’t want to work.

It doesn’t work when started on the runway with engines running either. Also, the autopilot on my RJ doesn’t work either now. I’ll check my F28 and 146 also, but I am seeing a pattern here. the autopilot and 530 do work in non-JF planes. This is happening in both 2020 and 2024

This happens for me too. I am in MSFS2020.

Also here with arrow bundle. Same for the gtn750...it doesnt appear on the tablet list but it's functional on external window.

@H3LLVIS check the Configuration on the tablet, yours is showing WT GNS Dual - not GTNxi. - I have the GTNxi issue with bezel showing and just blank displays. I have purchased the TDS GTN addon.

@GaryG I know how the tablet works... but in the pic i've linked there are 2 problems at the same time:

1 - the wt gns 530 has just blank displays as I spawn on the runway (like the problem issued by @dadgametime ).
2 - the PMS-50 GTN 750 won't show up in the list of gps Aircraft options (in the tablet) but if I launch it by it's own indipendent window it works (as shown in the pic)

Maybe I've been too short in the description of the problems in the previous post.

Finally got a login.

I can confirm I see same gtn530 issue in both 2020 and 2024 (su2 beta 4.18)

It’s both from cold and dark and also when spawn on runway. The buttons light up round the screen but screen is black. AP also turns off heading mode straight away. In case that is related

I also tried the “recharge battery” which didn’t help.

Also tried with just the arrows bundle in the community folder but problem was still there

Oh odd. It is now working in 2020 when I today spawned on the runway. Not done anything different other than look for gns530 in content manage to check that old WT version was still disabled. I have GNS430/530 by Working Title v1.2.4 "up to date".

Very odd.. now also working in 2024. All I have done is tried emptying the community folder (renamed it) and just loading the pa-28s. Which didnt help. Then put the community folder back. Since then I tried a different livery - HB-PMB and it works ok. Even on the original default livery. Sorry that probably doesnt help much.
