v1.07 breaks compatibility with VATSIM
-
I understand this product is not yet officially compatible with MSFS 2024.
However, in the previous version, I was able to copy over the traffic fleet folder to my MSFS 2024 Community, point VATSIM to your VMR file, and all worked great.
With v1.07, it seems the folder structure has been consolidated. I tried copying over the traffic module folder (which seems to contain the aircraft objects, sounds, effects, etc.), point VATSIM to your new v1.07 VMR file, but the aircraft do not show up when connected to the network. I did notice that there were some sounds and lights appearing for other traffic on the VATSIM network, but the models/liveries were not showing up.
I do not have your control center folder copied over as I don't use it, I just want to use your models on the VATSIM network alongside FSLTL as my secondary fallback VMR file.
I know that many users are using your traffic models in this way and I would strongly suggest some more customizable installation options (e.g., installing traffic models only) in your future iterations and especially for the MSFS 2024 update.
Any help in the meantime to possibly get these working again would be great.

There have been some file structure changes with the FS Traffic v1.0.7 update, but no intentional changes on our side to prevent the use of our models with other Ai traffic injectors. The changes in file structure may require the developers of other AI traffic programs to update the file directories they are using to detect the FS Traffic models in their software.
With regards to MSFS 2024, FS Traffic is only compatible with MSFS 2020 at this time, so we cannot guarantee functionality with MSFS 2024 at this time. However, the recently released v1.0.7 update does include some backend changes that lay the foundations for MSFS 2024 compatibility in a future update.
Like all of our MSFS products, FS Traffic will be receiving a free-of-charge MSFS 2024 compatibility update in the near future, with development of that update already well underway. The current status of all of our MSFS 2024 compatibility updates can be viewed at the following link: https://www.justflight.com/articles/just-flight-addons-msfs-2024-compatibility-status
We’ll be posting more news on FS Traffic’s MSFS 2024 compatibility update soon, and we as sharing some further information about what new features, aircraft models and liveries will be coming to the product.

Hi Mark,
What is different with the file/folder structure under 1.0.7? VPilot seems to look at all sources within SimObjects/Airplanes, but for some reason, it's not detecting the models from FS Traffic.
