    Hi JF

I am not seeing a thumbnail of the RJ100 in the FS24 in the upper left of the flight planner page. Not a big deal but it does mean I cannot see what livery I currently have selected other than my having to go into the livery library to check.

    Many thanks.

This is one of several known issues that are affecting MSFS 2020 products in MSFS 2024 that will require a fix on Asobo/Microsoft's end. We have this listed in the following FAQ covering the current known issues (point 6): https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000143831-rj-professional-msfs-2024-known-issues

Liveries for MSFS 2024 require different thumbnais to 2020. This is not a bug that requires a fix by Microsoft. The easiest solution is to do this yourself. Locate the texture folder for each livery (including those provided as default) and using a paint program open and save the existing thumbnail.jpg as the respective .png files.

Take a look as this detailed explaination from the SDK:
    https://docs.flightsimulator.com/msfs2024/html/3_Models_And_Textures/Modeling/Aircraft/Thumbnails.htm

    You will need three files:
    thumbnail.png
    thumbnail_button.png
    thumbnail_side.png

It is a good idea to update the layout.json file with these changes. The easiest way to do this is by using auto_json.exe

This will be fixed by the upcoming RJ v1.3 update.

I am happy to report that the missing thumbnail has been restored in today's 1.3 update.

    Thank you JF!
