    HI Team,

Is simbrief downloader working with the new RJ in 2024? Can't find plans in the FMS?

I’ve had a lot of difficulty in getting the FMS to fetch the flight plans. I tried using SimBrief downloader to put the flight plan in the RJ work folder (which worked in FS20), and I tried manually pasting the flight plan there, but neither worked. So now I just manually enter the leg details into the FMC.

From my experience it needs to be downloaded in the EFB first, and then in the GNLU FMS unit on the pedestal after that. There is a specific line select item to select the flight plan, I believe it is on one of the index pages. I’m not at my computer at the moment to look and say specifically what page. Of course this all assumes that the flight plan is in the correct directory as stated elsewhere here in the forum. Make sure it is going into the exact folder as listed. For myself I have had no issues with the simbrief downloaded, it is working for me as intended.

The RJ EFB does not have the ability to to send the Simbrief flight plan directly to the MCDU. It will load the plane with passengers and fuel, that's it. The Simbrief flight plan has to be downloaded into PC folder. Then using the MCDU can be loaded in. All those instructions are in the manual. I would love to see the RJ be ble to fully use the 2024 EFB also. Being able to send MCDU plans to the sim and receive plans from it.
