    The RF aerials are on by default for the RJ. While you can turn them off in the EFB, they come back on again the next flight. Oddly enough the HR aerials are disabled by default in the 146. It would be great if the RJ remembered the EFB settings, or if there was some method to allow you to disable/enable the HF aerials by livery.

      This is intentional logic as each livery is configured with the correct equipment based on reference photos of the real aircraft. The HF Aerials, Metric Altimeter, Tail Skid and VHF3 Antenna are the equipment which is being configured on a per-livery basis.

        And you can change those default options by editing the livery config ini file that can be found within the RJ package 'data' folder.

          @Martyn
          Great thanks. A couple of questions.

          1. Looking at the livery_config.ini file I notice that none of the linking lines match up to any direct value in the aircraft.cfg. For instance the RJ100 for Cobham is shown in the livery_config.ini file listed as [RJ100 Cobham] while the closest match I could find in the aircraft.cfg was in the title line as title = "Just Flight RJ100 Cobham". So does it do a wild card search on the value in the title field? Or does it assume the 1st 12 characters are always constant and match from the 13th character onwards?

          2. And should livery creators like myself include the livery_config.ini file with their liveries? Or will each person who downloads the livery have to manually add an entry to the main livery_config.ini file for every non-default RJ livery they have?

            1. It is the 'title' value that is used, and the prefix 'Just Flight ' is ignored. So, a new livery with an aircraft.cfg value of 'title = "Just Flight RJ85 Aer Lingus"'' would be added to the livery_config.ini as '[RJ85 Aer Lingus]'.
            2. The ini file was developed with only our package liveries in mind, so we'll need to investigate how best to support livery creators adding their own options. In the meantime I think you should be able to just edit the ini file within our package.
