FMC weight units

How do I change FMC weight units? I have the EFB set to LBs but it seems like the PERF page is still in KGs

It wilk be. The two are independent.

They've reproduced the FMC accurately so it uses tonnes.

Ergo.. I personally find it easier to use KGs in the EFB amd just divide by 10,000.

Looking into this, I don't believe it is possible to toggle the weight units on the FMS in the simulator, likely due to it not being possible on the real FMS either (I suspect the real FMS would have the weight units set up from the manufacture based on the airline's requirements, therefore, it wouldn't be an option for the pilots to toggle).

We have logged this on our internal bugs tracker as something to investigate further though, as it is something that should be an option. Ideally, we'll link this up with the KG/LBS toggle on the EFB.

You can change it be editing the JF_Avro_GNLU.cfg file

Located at .../LocalState/packages/justflight-aircraft-rj/work/JustFlight.

Remove the line below ...

WeightUnit=KGS

It will default to LBS on the next aircraft load.

But we will update to change it on the fly or synch with the EFB.
