Undercarriage lowered - 2000fpm

Hi All,
Whenever I lower the undercarriage from a fully trimmed configuration, it takes a nose-dive straight to 2000fpm. I fly a real Arrow and it usually adds about 200fpm not 2000fpm.
Is this a bug or a configuration issue? If it is a config issue, do you know what I need to change?
