General aviation from all GA fields. Anything on an IFR flightplan should be easy, as I'm assuming you can get that data from the same place you're getting the airlines, VFR is more challenging, but some random, but realistic VFT traffic would be awesome, too! TIA...

I wish there was the possibility to customize the installation folder, so that we can install it outside of the default community folder.
This is useful, for example, in case the default disk of the Community folder is full or about to be full or simply to be able to activate/deactivate it through applications such as Addons Linker.

I know that moving the folders manually also works, but it doesn't seem like the best method to me.

After the latest updates I'm happy with fs-traffic!
Nice traffic at departure and destination. Thank you JF!
But to my taste the "action" at the destination begins to late 😞

        So my feature request is:
Please start the "action" (departures and arrivals) 10 minutes or 50nmi earlier or make some kind of a slider to configure that, so that there is "action" at the destination during my approach and not only when I'm sitting 5-10 minutes at my destination-gate.

        Thank you

When/will fs traffic be released on xbox? I have heard rumors that it will and haven’t heard much since! Hoping for an update @JustFlight. Thank you. I’m probably speaking for many Xbox users but I am fed up about the current traffic. The models are very unrealistic and ruins the experience. I’m counting on you @JustFlight

No rumours from us. We have always said that we will offer the software to MS (as we do with all our MSFS releases) and, if it's acceptable, they will sell on the Marketplace for PC. In theory, with the WASM issue solved, it should also run on console, but, until it's tested we can't say for certain. We don't have any firm dates for a MarketPlace build, but it should not be too far off. After that it is up to MS.

@denzel Sorry for the delay in responding.

It’s not something that’s in the foreseeable plans for FST. It requires that you use FSHUD to generate the traffic and that's not a route that we want to be going down right now. Hope that helps to at least give you an answer.

Add a "remove nearby traffic" functionality, to erase conflicting traffic on approaches.

                      Hello,

Would it be possible to have only static planes at the airports without the departures and arrivals? I use FSHUD+FSTL for "en route" aircraft. Static aircraft managed by FS Traffic use less CPU than FSHUD and seems a good combination. Can I tweak a file in the FS traffic folders to avoid departures and arrivals? Thank you.

I have very little confidence in the confirm button, and always click on it 3 or 4 times. In the next update, any chance of flagging it, so that you have clicked on it and its been accepted. ie after you click on it, it changes colour?

                              Hi JF,

I don't own this yet, but I was wondering/dreaming... I wanted to simulate the year 1960 as closely as possible. So, presumably 1. I'd have to obtain the aircraft models and load them into the sim from somewhere. 2. I'd have to program the flight routes into FS Traffic as appropriate to the aircraft operating limits. 3. And then set the date to 1960 in the sim.

Would FS traffic obey the date? Or would I still see Airbuses flying around? Do you think this technique is the best way to achieve my aims?

@flit You don't have to set the date. FS Traffic only bases it schedules on the programmed day. Month and year are not programmed and there is no way of doing that, at the moment at least. So if you make new schedules, regardless of the date in the sim, the 1960 schedule will be active. You would have to copy in and out different versions of the schedules if you wanted individual years to be different.

I cant believe that nobody has requested a military aircraft expansion pack yet as you did with previous versions. I would love to see modern military aircraft and ideally for me, 1970/80 aircraft like Phantoms, Lightnings, Jaguars, Canberras as well as cargo and training aircraft. Almost forgot to mention helicopters. Thank you for developing this fantastic programme.

@rabski the guys at https://militaryaiworks.com/ were trying to work on that but I haven't seen any update in months. FSLTL is not producing any new models and, maybe I'm mistaken but I don't think FS Traffic will ever do military AI traffic.

@rich that sounds better than my suggestion. I bought the program today and it works well but found the inputting of the destination a bit vague in terms of knowing if it had actually worked or not. Also it would be nice to see airports busy as we pass over them.

@cbcdesign I would love to see some planes on the ground at airports as I fly over them! They don't need to be doing much but flying over empty airports is a bit strange.

It would be great to be able to install the program and the fleet in a different folder than Community, so that it can be activated and deactivated both through the Control Center application itself, as well as from third-party applications, such as MSFS Addon Linker.

I know it can be done manually, copying the folders manually, but it could be implemented from the installer itself.
