Dark FMC

Unsure if anyone else has seen this? Last 2 days I've been in setting up phase, gone down to the FMC to bring in the plan and it's been totally dark aside from a "/" at top right (see pic).
If I entered text with the keypad I see the letters but without the menus visible it was not usable. Both times I had to hit esc then restart to re-spawn the flight. I always start cold and dark.
I did confirm all masters were set and cycled both them and the ground power but it never switched on.

@mck honestly struggling to remember.... I must have done somehow because it does not happen any more. As a respawn did resolve it when it happened I suspect either an option was set wrong or some kind of cache issue. I'm afraid all I can suggest for now is maybe a windows restart (not shutdown if you have fast boot enabled as that persists bits of storage) and driver upgrade if behind.
I'll sleep on it and see if the memory percolates overnight.
