    Just curious if the AP VS switch press is available as key presses, given that in critical flight phases using the mouse to adjust the VS is a bit awkward.

      @flyforever You can use the pitch reference control assignments to adjust vertical speed with the autopilot VS mode engaged

        I have a 5 way hat on my Boeing tca that operates HDG, VS, VL and GS modes. I then use the sync function to adjust flight, works a treat

          @rustyrdc
          Are you referring to reference VS command in MSFS? For some reason, this command button does not change VS for me when on autopilot.

                Thanks, but I was referring to the VS pitch toggle switch that increases or decreases the amount of fpm. In the cockpit, this is done by using the mouse to press the toggle switch located next to the AP master switch. Martyn said to use the "reference VS"for this.

                  @flyforever ah sorry bud I misunderstood you obviously.
                  I have never used that function as I find the sync mode very intuitive.
                  Good luck

                    Martyn,
                    Can you be more specific? The "autopilot reference VS" does not appear to have any effect.
                    thanks

                      @flyforever With the autopilot or flight director engaged and VS mode engaged, you can use these control assignments to adjust the selected vertical speed:
