Checklist items missing the pointer and highlight

As a newbie to this aircraft, I thought I would use the integrated MSFS checklist to learn where everything is located.
Many of the steps will show a pointer when you click on the little "eye" icon to the right of the current step. But quite often , the pointer doesn't appear (and the relevant switch doesn't highlight).
Should I consider this inconsistency to be a bug?

We've found that this usually happens for two-position switches and are trying to find a solution.
@martyn There also seem to be one or two things that are missing from either end of the checklist too, like the Galley switch only show up on the leaving aircraft checklist, and there is no mention of the APU Gen switch, STBY INV/GEN switches, Bus Ties or the Fuel Transfer switch in the Shutdown or Leaving lists, even though they are mentioned in the Safety and Before Start checks.

I think there were more than one or two items with missing pointers., I will confirm.
Hehe, perhaps we should add "Remove Chocks" to the list (just kidding). I sat there trying to roll with the brakes off but of course, I hadn't removed the chocks !
