Sound volume on Hawk
-
Is there any way of dialling down the levels of sound volume on the Hawk? At present the volume of all sounds appears to be out of step with other aircraft in the sim. As a result, when loading up the aircraft having previously flown something else, it's necessary to turn down the master volume in the sim settings in order to hear yourself think. Then, when switching to any other aircraft, you need to remember to turn up the master volume in the sim again.

I registered to post the exact thing, too. I've a few hours on the hawk and the engine noise is nothing like what is in game. It's as loud as if you had your helmet off, so you need to turn the game nose down to about a quarter normal volume!

I asked on a ticket about the engine sound level and they replied... "to reducing the sound of the engine, you can reduce this by using the "AIRCRAFT ENGINES" slider in Options > General Options > Sound"

@baw24p Of course. The problem is that the volume in the Hawk appears out of step - i.e. significantly louder - than every other aircraft I have flown in MSFS. As a result it becomes necessary to change settings within the sim each time you change from another aircraft to the Hawk or back again: I tend to shift the master volume up or down by a significant amount to adapt. What would have been wrong with simply moderating the volume so it was in step with other aircraft rather than imposing this need to repeatedly adjust and readjust on customers? I note this appears not to have been fixed in v0.1.5, which seems a missed opportunity.
