As a high time warrior pilot some things that need tweaking some of these are in other posts but would like to put it in one place:

Carb heat - I suspect the plane you used to model from had a worn flapper box as the RPM barely drops in the SIM (if this is the case you want that plane looked at as it is ingesting unfiltered air). RPM should drop 100 during runup.

Climb Performance especially at high density altitude is very optimistic and does not reflect reality.

Rudder authority is unrealistic (have been advised this is a MS issue)

    Autopilot flaky

OAT looks cartoonish - I use this all the time and it contrasts with the rest of the planes professional finish.

This is probably the thing that frustrates me most in MSFS and it is hardly talked about or acknowledged by Microsoft / Asobo.

On every plane I have flown in the sim the tiniest bit of pressure feels like the equivalent of half-travel IRL (maybe a bit of an exaggeration but you get the idea). I've had to bump the resistance on my pedals to the max to get it to feel even remotely close to realistic

@nickd27 You should try spending a lot of time trying to get it right and then realising you're beating your head against a brick wall because the core flight model has more effect than we ever can as developers and it does not always create the realism it's supposed to . . .

This is something I agree completely on. As a pure Flight Dynamics 'worker' (as in, that's all I do in the sim), I am lucky enough to be in contact with the guys that built and maintain / update the sim. Any question about graphics, scenery, coding gets answered very quickly. Mention flight dynamics and there is a wall of silence. It's been like that from the start, and I see no sign of it changing unfortunately.

@delta558 Yeah I can imagine that must be super frustrating! Plus you never know when they're gonna push an update that messes with everything you've been working on...

@nickd27 I noticed that too... so I increased the "extreme dead zone" on the rudder axis and it seemed to help, at the cost of not being able to fully deflect the rudder.

Oh, that really saddens me....I had be hoping for improvements to the flight model.
