GNS530, COM1 inner knob unresponsive?

Has anyone experienced that it suddenly isn't possible to adjust the decimals on COM1 on the gns530? Sometimes, mid-flight, the inner knob doesn't want to do anything for me, but I can still adjust COM1 integers using the outer knob, and both knobs for NAV1 continues to work fine. Restarting the flight makes it all good again, but haven't found a way to make it work mid-flight.
Not sure if this is a mod-issue or something with the base-sim, or specifically to the JF Piper. Anyone seeing this as well? -

Sometimes I find that I have to zoom in, pan or even move the viewpoint to the right a little to get the knob turning cursor to appear when the mouse pointer is hovered over a knob... -
Thanks! I’m interacting with the knob just fine, very sure that it’s visually turning. But the number doesn’t change.
I’ll dig some more, to see if I can reproduce more systematically. All this “sometimes “ is not helpful
