@pequenyo sorry no, it's currently on hold. In Starship version 1.1, the GTN will not drive the autopilot in NAV or APPR modes.

Hmm so I reinstalled SU3 beta and also removed and reinstalled Navigraph navdata. Something in SU3 beta must have changed because I can't enter TREEI in the EFB either, but if I select the HAREI1 arrival in the EFB then it finds all the fixes no problem. In SU2 I can enter everything manually both in the CDU and the EFB, but SU3 beta is behaving differently. Looks like either Asobo broke something or NG has not updated their format to match SU3 changes. I'm leaning towards a bug because I couldn't enter VORs in the EFB either (it did'nt "find" them), had to look them up on the map and then add to flight plan. Screenshot

@Avionic Let me first say, that I don’t have the Starship (yet), so I’m merely spitballing here. It makes sense that you have to use a reference point not part of the flight plan, when the alternatives are point abeam and radial. That obviously can become a problem, if there are no appropriate points to reference. In your specific case, as you say, a solution could’ve been, to work out, at what radial toward MIKSI did your flight path intersect, when the distance to TNO was exactly 20 Nm, or whatever distance you’d prefer. It would require some extra preparation, for sure, but I think it could be a fun exercise nonetheless. Love these questions, where you have to use a little bit of creativity. Cheers, and good luck!

@ploodovic Not too surprised that it can be a bit of a rocky experience IRL as well. Still, I think that it is the case that a case of a quirky system IRL having its deficiencies further amplified by the aggressive autopilot pitching. For now I am also using VS mode (which, as people note in this thread, is also too aggressive), but I enjoy trying to make it as smooth of a ride as possible for the passengers. Also Air Hauler passengers start complaining when going to 0.7 G, which helps highlight things like this.

Image Uploads If you had noticed that you couldn't upload images, you weren't imagining it, an update to the forum software was incompatible with our storage provider. I'm happy to announce that you can now upload images once again - .jpg/jpeg, .png and .bmp images that are under 10MB in size. If there are other image formats that may be useful, or you encounter issues uploading images please let support know and we will investigate.

@TurboXiong of course engine health simulation is discussed multiple times in the manual and is one of the core features of this aircraft. For example see Turboprop Engine Simulation and Engine Limits and Failures on page 102 or Engine Visualizer Page [of the tablet] on page 127 of the BlackSquare Starship manual.

I have bound a toggle switch to it. Need to be done externally unfortunately. (L:bksq_TabletVisible, bool) ! if($=1,0,1) (>L:bksq_TabletVisible, bool) If you use Mobiflight for it (free), I just added it as a preset you can find under the name "BS Duke Toggle Tablet".

Sharing my experience. Below is my post in the PMS50 discord un Jun 29, 2025: Repeatable MSFS2020 CTD when PMS GTN750/650 is used. A/C is BlackSquare Duke. I've been testing this all morning, and can consistently and repeatably cause a CTD at the exact same position only when using the GTN750/650. I have NOTHING in my community folder other than the Blacksquare Duke and the PMS50 GTN750. When I try the exact route with the default DA62, no issues. When I try the exact route with the Blacksquare Duke and GNS530/430, no issues. When I try the exact route with the Blacksquare Duke and PMS50 GTN750, I get a CTD. I did this 4x times, and the CTD repeats consistently. I downloaded and installed the latest version 2.2.48 of the GTN750. Still CTD. If I don't use the GTN750, it does not CTD. I've read many post stating that PMS50 GTN750 cannot cause a CTD. I don't know what to say, but that's not my experience. Here's the flight plan. Cruise altitude is 13,000. Departure time about 10am local. KBTV DCT OMPEE DCT SQUAM DCT LIMER DCT KPWM The CTD occurs about halfway between OMPEE and SQUAM. Update: I still had version 2.2.36 on my PC. I had flown ~60 hrs with this version in the BlackSquare Duke without a single CTD, so I reverted to 2.2.36, and tried the problem flight plan. No CTD. So, I'm back to using 2.2.36 indefinitely. That's fine with me. Also, during my testing I had absolutely nothing else running at all, and it still CTDed. I didn't have any third party apps running.

I've just bought FS Traffic and am really disappointed to see that it performs so badly when used with FS Hud. The dev at FS Hud says the problem lies with FS Traffic and there are two solutions:- Start using FSHud API SDK to inject AI Traffic directly to FSHud. Change injection way to MSFS so it will be also compatable with FSHud (take into account the fact that traffic aircraft can be intercepted and removed by another application like FSHud. FS Traffic is currently useless to me without integration with FS Hud. If I'd known I wouldn't have bought it.

We are simulating an F70 and F100 fitted with IRS/NAV navigation only (as that is the configuration of our reference aircraft), so it won't include the retrofitted GPS equipment. However, RNAV approaches will remain available for selection in the FMS, and they can be flown using the IRS/NAV navigation. The modern GPS equipment is something we have on our internal feature request list as something to possibly add in a post-release update; however, there is nothing in the works at the moment.
