    @Derek said in easyJet livery:

It's certainly something we would look at in the future but very much on a user-to-user basis on a third party site as it is in X-Plane.

    Thanks, Derek, that's exactly what I was getting at...

In fact, now I come to think of it, paintkits for each model were originally available from JF for download for the FSX/P3D version of TG, so maybe you had this in mind from way back????

The ramp starts within the airport scenery need to be coded with the airline codes to get the correct airlines spawning at the correct gates. This can be changed in WED, but if it is an older scenery it probably wasn't. With more traffic programs appearing I think designers are more encouraged to complete this. I certainly do it as closely as possible when I do airports in WED.

My EHAM works fine. Depends on what scenery you have and whether the ATC traffic flows are correctly done.

As far as I know Traffic Global relies on what the X-Plane airport tells it. What you explain here is called the ATC traffic flow rules. When a designer does a scenery they should define the traffic flow to use certain runways under certain wind and time rules. This is clearly wrong for EGCC, so is down to the designer(as this is commercial add-on scenery). If it was a gateway airport you could do it yourself in WED, if you learnt how to do so. I do scenery for the Gateway and know how to do these flow rules, so I would expect somebody who charges for their scenery to know how to do it correctly.

This is where the scenery designer has put ramp starts on a gate that has three possible start positions. An aircraft would usually the centre position but they have L/R start positions so they can get two smaller A/C types on the gate. Because XP now spawns A/C at all 'Ramp Starts' they should only put one on the centre start position or both the left and right start, selecting the smaller aircraft size accordingly. This is in no way an error on Traffic Global, it just reads what an airport gives it. This can be changed by the user in WED, if you know or are interested in changing it.

I am presently working on a new Gateway version of Gatwick, which is nearing completion, you can find details of it at https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/168973-egkk-gatwick-re-work/

I hope this helps explain it a bit.

Landing aircraft, Flybe Q400/Dash8 (not sure exactly what the label calls it in game) approach speed is wrong, it was flying the whole final at 86kts. A more realistic speed would be the region of 115-120kts.

This bug I listed months ago is still present, Dash 8 is still flying a long approach at 86kt. Can this be noted and resolved.

I'm afraid we don't do support via forums. We do check here from time to time but if you have a problem or question we can guarantee a response from JF (rather than a forum member) via support. Yes, the aircraft have lighting and no, currently, it is not possible to delete an aircraft in flight AFAIK.

Thank you for the update. But im curious why P3D version has more airline liveries than the XP version? I understand that they are separate development teams but shound't they be able to share liveries? When will there be more liveries for XP?

They should be pretty much the same - what differences are you seeing?

Most liveries from Asia are still missing but are present on P3D version that are not in XP version

Here is the list of of new liveries released for v1.1.1.2 P3D version.

New liveries and associated flight plans added:
    737-800 AeroMéxico
    737-800 Gol Transportes Aéreos
    737-800 Pegasus Airlines
    737-800 Royal Air Maroc
    737-800 Ruili Airlines
    737-800 Xiamen Airlines
    A320 Indonesia AirAsia
    A320 Air Asia Philippines
    A320 Alaska Airlines
    A320 Allegiant Air
    A320 Batik Air
    A320 Beijing Capital Airlines
    A320 Cebu Pacific
    A320 Citilink Indonesia
    A320 IndiGo Airlines
    A320 VivaAerobus
    A320 West Air Sweden
    767-200 Air Canada
    767-200 United Airlines
    A319 Air Senegal
    A319 S7 Airlines
    A321 Aeroflot Russian Airlines
    A321 Condor Flugdienst
    ATR-72 Aer Lingus
    ATR-72 Braathens Regional Airways
    ATR-72 Finnair
    ATR-72 Scandinavian Airlines
    CRJ 900 Air Nostrum
    CRJ 900 Lufthansa

I hope devs can include them in XP version. They use the same paint kit.

@Aceboss said in Tail Draggers taxiing in reverse:

Since the new update of a day or 2 ago, I am noticing that TG is using my models such as the vSkyLabs DC-3 but they are taxiing around the airport (YPDN in my case) tail-wheel first which is very distracting!

Is this a config issue, or is TG just assuming that the single wheel is the steering wheel of a tricycle configuration and therefore leading with it?

TG should only use its own aircraft models. It's not designed to use other aircraft unless they are set up in the TG program itself.

Same issue with LFMN, no Traffic

This was fixed in a previous update so maybe one to contact JF support about.

    @Admiralty-013
Development of TG (for P3D/FSX) must have started way before the initial EA release in May 2018, so a lot of the then current repaints have been left behind, but even so there's a whole load of oddities.
Mainly out of curiosity, I made flightplans for a deserted airport for each and every model and repaint just so I could get to see some of the liveries that I'd most likely never get to see in the sim.
Seems such a shame that so much effort was expended to include very tasty models and liveries that still lay unseen and yet include defunct carriers, even removing perfectly good repaints of US regional carriers that are still not covered.

Has the update addressed any of the issues you wrote about in your ticket? I have checked the ticket status and it is down as 'closed - Derek replied in forum'.

Just to reiterate about liveries. Traffic Global doesn't feature the airlines you mentioned - it's simply impossible to provide liveries for every airline in the world. That was never our intention. However, the selection included should provide realistic air traffic, around the world, out of the box. If there are massive gaps in coverage we will aim to update accordingly, but, a lot of what we can do does depend on user feedback/demand.

There will be another update released shortly to address a few more issues and we intend to continue updating the program continuously - in much the same way as X-Plane itself is updated.
