If I choose to allow analytics, I believe I read that would mean the database would be store in the cloud. Would that also mean I could access my profile on my laptop without having to copy the local database over (as I'm currently doing)?
No, it's just some basic usage data to help me understand what areas of the application is used. Your Fly the Line flight data is only stored on your local machine.
