New development build

@Rich
Also Rich just on a side note....I noticed that even with 'Use Alternate Liveries' unchecked....that a Pel Air S340 and Blue Dart B757-200 were sitting on the ramp at KMEM.....actually the B757-200 was parked at a gate but I'm sure it was in cargo config.Forgot...there was also a Star Track RJ85 siting on the ramp in CYYZ....but it was in a designated cargo area so at least it was paying attention to where it should be.

@vortexwake
Yep, you're right. I am now starting to see things that aren't there! :kissing_face_with_smiling_eyes:
The C172 is invisible ....and all the Caravans appear to be clones too (though I have found just one other livery on a C152 - G-BYED)
...invisible C172 & visible C152 have no lights
bit unimpressed with the hexagonal passenger windows on the Kingair! -
@Capt-Quirk
Yep....I noticed that the C208's appeared as clones too.
Didn't notice that the C152 and C172 didn't have any lighting.
Hexagonal passenger windows in the B200 Kingair?....I'm gonna have to find one and take a look at that!
I guess this is why Rich said that this build hadn't been fully fleshed out yet. -
@vortexwake
Just had a very swift look at the texture sheets for some of the GA and they do appear to be different from each other.
I'm wondering if it's something to do with the fallback textures and each repaint is using that for some peculiar reason.B200 Kingair passenger windows
TG B200 compared with Orbx static B200 (in background)
-
@Capt-Quirk
That's a good question about the fallback textures being used instead of the individual texture sheets for each....especially if they are as you said, apparently different from each other.
Probably something that Rich would have to take a look at and be able to answer. -
@Capt-Quirk
B200 Kingair passenger windowsThat is just so wrong!.....:grinning_squinting_face:
-
@Capt-Quirk
That looks like a Kingair C90 in the background of the second image....with the correct pass windows.
Must be an add on?....AIG?
Ah....ORBX....got it.
My mistake....that is a B200 in the background.....nice model.
But the detail on the rivets in that close up of the JF B200 is pretty impressive! -
@vortexwake
Nice rivets...shame about the windows!:face_with_tongue: -
@Capt-Quirk
No kidding!
It almost looks as if the 'outline' of the correct rounded pass windows is there....but wasn't adjusted as such when the hexagonal pattern was laid on for spacing?....just a guess. -
You may be right...there is a shadow of a rounded frame there on the Kingair...
Must admit to being quite impressed with the detailing on those planes that I can see!
Quite...er...rivetting! :persevering_face: [sorry, just couldn't resist!]
Edit: have just spotted a couple of C208s in different livery!
-
@Capt-Quirk
Would have to agree with you, and credit to JF for the attention to detail on these GA models.
Much improved over the previous default GA ported over from T360....I'm not going to miss the AA-5!Maybe the different liveries on the C208's is dependent on the region?....there are four (4) different textures folders with differing registrations (G-AUZZ, G-EACP, G-EBBE and N-LSLD)

When is the proper fix going to be for SpeedBird and JetBlue to have a space in them so ATC for FSX can actually say the company?
Also, Is the ability to add flights been reinstated?

This is starting to do my head in!
I've just created flightplans for every repaint of each individual aircraft type in v1.1.1.4 so that they're parked up at a 'disused' airfield.
Aside from the planes that I am unable to actually see in FSX-SE, if I line up any of the others, at first all the various liveries are sometimes visible until I change views and then they seem to all change to the first repaint listed in the aircraft.cfg [fltsim.0] which is the first fallback texture.
In the case of the Kingair:
[fltsim.0]
title=JFAI_GA_King_Air_B200_FK456
sim=TG_GA
model=
panel=x
sound=
texture=
plus, I guess some of these paints might be temporary placeholders? Certainly in the case of the B200 at least, there's not a helluva lot of variety:frowning_face:
also, just for info (don't mean to be picky)...but the RAF is ZK456...EDIT: Just had a speedy 'world tour' to various airports in FSX-SE and have spotted the odd different livery, but they seem few and far between, the majority being just the one livery.
E.g: RAF Kingair, C208 G-EACP.FURTHER EDIT:
Compiling with 'use alternate liveries' seems to help add variety in all the aircraft that are visible in FSX, except for some reason the C208 where G-EACP appears in just about every instance.
Just a thought, but wouldn't generic repaints with no reg numbers be a bit more realistic?
The compilation allocates random registrations appropriate to the flightplan anyway.
Seems really odd to have european & US registered light planes turning up all over the world and you end up with ATC communicating with HB-xxx in Switzerland when the plane clearly has a UK reg, for instance. -
Btw, TG compiler is still putting TrafficGlobal_myFlights.bgl 75.4Kb into scenery/world/scenery even when not ticked to compile.

Yikes.......
