Why this did not occur to me earlier, I do not know..

I just copied the asobo g36 from the 2020 Official folder to the new 2024 "Official2020\OneStore" folder, and for good measure used my Addons Linker to activate the BSQ A36 as well as my Rob Young Turbo mods into the 2024 Community folder..

Guess what, it all works! 🙂

While I haven't tried this myself, I would expect this to solve almost all visually apparent issues. If there are any issues stemming from changes to Working Title avionics, those will still be present. Animation issues caused by Asobo's breaking of the integer divide operator in RPN will still be present (supposedly they are going to fix that one soon...), and lastly, the failure system will definitely be unstable and possess unpredictable outcomes, as it also relies on integer divide.

Beyond those items, I'm sure the Bonanza will be quite enjoyable in MSFS 2024, and I hope you have some great flights! I just wanted to share some of the things that may not be as perfect under the hood as they might appear.

Looks like Asobo fixed something, because the A36 is now looking as good as ever..

@Black-Square Any word on the Bonanza coming to Xbox for 2020 soon?

The Caravan and King Air hit a few weeks ago, I'm anticipating the Baron and Bonanza to follow soon.

They are in the pipeline, but we have heard no further information from Asobo after that. Our assumption is that they are a little overwhelmed with the MSFS 2024 release. I'll see if we can get a status update sometime soon for you.

@Black-Square Awesome! ❤️ I've honestly given up on 2024 until it's issues are sorted out.

Looking forward to them when they're released.

Now flying in SU1 Beta 2.. and the A36 is operating nicely with the TDS GTN in the panel. Nothing wrong that I can see!

If any of you have the opportunity, do you think you could do me a favor? Could you tell me if the stuttering described here in MSFS 2024 (worst in VR), is significantly worse with the TBM and Dukes than it is with any of my Steam Gauge Overhaul aircraft? This would help me narrow the cause down to the tablet, which is a very heavy manipulator of on-screen graphics via CoherentGT, which has been suggested as the problem on our developer forum. Thank you, all!

I have flown the TBM (not in VR) and have not noticed any stuttering... If it were to be the tablet, why would you have that open in flight?

    @Bert-Pieke
That's great news Bert. I tried everything you did but it does not work for me.
Now, also let me say that I am in SU2 Beta - maybe that's the issue.

The external view does not show the aircraft, but the cockpit view appears to be OK

@DaneSimAir Did you copy the 2020 asobo G36 Bonanza to the new folder, before copying the A36 to the Community folder?

@Bert-Pieke Thanks for your reply - yes I did.
What about the other G36 livery folders should they be copied over as well to the "Packages\Official2020\OneStore" ?

I only copied the "asobo-aircraft-bonanza-g36" folder (332MB). To get additional liveries, I added the Rob Young Turbo Bonanza mod to the Community folder. You can try to copy over additional livery folders to the OneStore folder and see if they show up!

@Bert-Pieke THANK YOU - I went at it again and I finally got it.
So I now have the BKSQ G58P Baron, A36 Bonanza, and the Grand Caravan all working and looking as they should.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Happy to hear you have it working! MSFS 2024 would not be the same for me without my favourite Blacksquare aircraft..

@Bert-Pieke - Agree - The BKSQ Analogue aircraft are the best.

I have noticed one thing that is odd. When choosing the A36 in the MSFS Aircraft lineup. There are only two choices - one choice is A36 Bonanza Tip Tanks the other is A36TC Bonanza which also has tip tanks - however, the third option in 2020 is the A36 Bonanza without tip tanks - but it does not show up.
Do you find that as well? Maybe there needs to be other folders copied over?

You can also unzip this into your Community folder for additional liveries:
