Hi, I have a question for you, Justflight. Can you create the Convair 880/990 Professional for MSFS? Thank you for your help.

                                                                                              Sincerely,
                                                                                         Connor Richey

There are no plans for a Convair 880/890 from our side but we're always on the lookout for quirky, classic aircraft to develop, so never say never!

Well, I hope you create the Convair 880/990 Professional for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.

@Mark Personally I think it'd be a perfect fit for you guys personally. It's not massively complex on the systems front, not requiring an FMC or the like. It had the distinction of being the fastest commercial passenger plane apart from the concorde if memory serves. It just never quite lined up for Convair and they couldn't iron out the problems before the project ended up failing for favour of large wide bodies.

But it'd be a unique and fascinating early era jet, since we are upto our eyeballs in A320s and 737s. Something from the early days that was a fascinating 'what-if' would be amazing.

Be nice to do some old school stick and rudder flying. xD

Yeah, the CV880/990 would be really cool indeed!
The problem I see is the aircraft sounds because there are no aircraft available for recording sounds and very few videos of the engine sounds, all of which do not cover the full range of operation.
