Hi Folks, just wondering if these projects, F100 & RJ Professional are now dead projects as there has been no updates for a very long time. The last update on the F100 dates back to the 12th Jan 2023 and the RJ Professional Dates back to 16th Dec 2022. Just a little confused as these aircraft were well underway before any of Just Flights other releases that keep coming out, but no further announcements or growth and development of the initial Products which I am sure have been well supported. If these projects are dead, please let people know so there is not an expectation that a dangled carrot is still swinging in the wind... Bit frustrating that Just Flight are horrific with updates to loyal supports of the brand.

@marfarkar AFAIK, recently on their FB page they mentioned that F100 would come out "next year". But indeed any news regarding RJ would be much appreciated, especially since in May (IIRC) it was said they expect RJ to come out "in summer".

Not sure I'd use the word 'horrific' but chacun a son gout and all that. If you want to know what we are currently working on it is outlined on our 'In Development' pages (https://www.justflight.com/in-development). If we cancel a project (which is rare - most recent ones were the 747 and A300 for P3D) we will usually make an announcement and remove that title from 'In Development'.
Most large, study-level type projects take years (rather than months) to develop. We will announce them as early as possible but, unfortunately, once the initial modelling is done there isn't much to show for a considerable period of time and developers are understandably wary about showing WIP (Work In Progress). No matter how many caveats are made about "it's WIP" there will invariably be some negative feedback from 'experts' and this can be very disheartening.
Meanwhile, projects can often take longer than anticipated and some titles can leapfrog others. We do our best to keep interest going by releasing progress updates, but, sometimes, these may be many months/years apart.

Rest assured that if we cancel/kill/make dead/whatever any project we will make this known and that if a title is listed as 'In Development' it most certainly is... in development.
Hopefully we will have some updates soon on the projects that are of interest you and thank you for your loyal support.

Hi Derek, thank you for your prompt response. Appreciate the feedback, but as a point going forward and part of your business model should be not to announce items like the foker70/100 within the same promotion announcement when it is know that internally that the F100 will not see the light of day for a very long time after the F70. Certainly have a build up to Products that have completed and passed all of the testing, but Don't build the hype and expectation on products that will no see light of day for a very long time, as this only leads to expectations that are not realistic and can only sour the great experiences that Just flight offer. Not Having a crack at JF as I have been an active customer since they started and have 99% of the time have fantastic results and experiences from them, just trying to highlight a gap in the business model that can be looked at so Questions like mine and other customers expectations are not being disappointed. Thanks again for taking the time to respond, Appreciate it.

@marfarkar I disagree here. Just Flight was always strait forward and did good updates unlike a certain four letter Boeing developer that just spews out corporate bullshit.

Unfortunately, the business model also dictates that you need to announce a project as far in advance as possible to ensure that no-one else ends up working on one as well. This is especially true of large study level aircraft.

when it is know that internally that the F100 will not see the light of day for a very long time after the F70.

Not something we are aware of. If you check out the In Development page you will see that both are part of the same product. See: https://www.justflight.com/in-development/f70-100-professional

We have no plans to sell the two variants separately. If we've said that anywhere please let us know and we will correct it.
