      Hi,

I have been trying to install this product but without success.

I receive two errors and a log file link text:

      1. The folder path "Flight Simulation" contains an invalid character.
      2. Setup failed 0x80070643 Fatal error during installation

I have submitted a support request but the up to 96 hour wait is rather too long for a brand new product.

      Thanks,
      Fabio

@Fab10 96 hours is the maximum and does cover us for issues that may take a while to resolve, weekends, holiday backlogs etc.

That error is not something we've seen during testing. Have you got your virus checker running?

Sorry, I am eager to get flying, that's all.
I have tried with W10 Defender on and off but with the same result.

@Fab10 Looking at the text file now. Could be a corrupt download but don't quote me....

Sadly not, I've just tried a fresh copy but with the same result.
The MSI log file is here:

@Fab10 Have you sent that to support?

Yes, I sent the same link (assuming it was the right file).
Is there anything else for me to try in the interim?
What would happen if I TEMPORARILY renamed my path without a space, installed TGXP11, and then reverted the path name back?
                  Thanks,
                  Fabio

@Fab10 Not sure if that will work. Support will get back to you. The dev is looking into it tonight.

@Fab10 Yes - they are on your case. It is to do with the location of the product. Si will get back to you today.
