One thing I've noticed is that for some reason when first entering a flight (doing a cold start) the pitch is always trim down to -4.6
I have to always rememebr to adjust the trim to 0 before taxing as it makes the plane uncontrolable during take off

Is there a way to tell what the pitch is set at without having the ingame labels on?
I wish we could assign a button to reset the pitch to 0I wonder why this is not an option in the game :thinking_face:

Hello, there must be a way to set a default value for a given condition; however I don't know how to do this for a specific model in msfs2020. My procedure is already in the airplane environment, during the startup checklists. I have a rotary tweak on my x56 that I've set to be the plane's trim control; just make sure it is in position "0 degrees", and the model will automatically be.

That method works because x52 rotary dial is effectively an axis so the game reads the exact positionIf you use buttons to adjust the trim the button just moves the trim from the relative starting position so in my case it's -4.6 for some reason
The only way to tell what the trim is set up is by looking at the number on label of the planes trim wheel as I adjust it.....and I hate having these labels pop up when mousing over the controls but it's the only way to tell what my trim is set at :(

@stona In the real world aircraft the trim gauge "takeoff" mark is the only way to see the trim setting, which should always be part of your takeoff checklist... and the preflight visual inspection of the trim tab position. The "correct" trim setting will always be approximate, and will depend on your aircraft loading. Many real world pilots count the number of rotations on the trim wheel to set the correct takeoff trim. So, you can do the same by counting number of clicks of the mouse wheel or trim button, and by looking at the position of the trim indicator mark relative to the takeoff mark. The primary goal is to accurately simulate piloting the real world aircraft, so there are no numbers on the trim gauge.

Hello, I also noticed that PA28 Arrow IV is uncontrollable during take off and landing steps. It slides from left to right and vice versa, it seems the plane loses grip on the ground. I have no AP activated. It seems to happened since last updates (Behaviour was correct on firsts versions).

Ok I have to moderate my enthousiasm...
This fix is better than nothing but I still belive there is something wrong with the Arrow IV.
I made some test and it appears that when flaps are set (not 0°), the nose plane goes constantly from rigth to left and vice versa... I have tested with no wind at all and the plane is uncontrollable. I've done the same fligth (same airport and weather parameters) with the DR400 and plane is stable :/
In the first versions of Arrow IV this strange behavior was not here.... something is definitelly wrong with the actual version.... really need a fix.
