BAe 146 Professional P3D v5 FMS/AP Issues

I've not been able to even do the tutorial flight, really disappointed.
What is preventing you from flying the tutorial? It doesn't use the FMC so presumably you are encountering another issue? There should be nothing in any of the 146 software versions that prevent the tutorial from being flown as it was written using v1.0.

To those customers that are having issues, please could you submit a ticket so that we can send extra files for you to test.
-
@ConcordeAG Do you have ticket number for me to take a look at?
-
@Martyn I assumed I’d be using the FMS for navigation. Maybe that’s my mistake, but I’d like the aircraft full operational before I launch into the skies! I’ve added my ticket number to this post, more than happy to try new files if you’d like to send. Hopefully get up and running!

@Craig I’ve submitted a ticket already for the FMS a few days ago and another reply to it this morning in fear it had been stuck/missed. Would love the new files to try? #46589
Thanks for this I see the ticket and assured it hasn't been missed you should receive an email shortly

@Craig Hi Craig. I responded yesterday to the ticket and email, still to no avail. Do you have any update re: the issue around the FMS. This is a deal-breaker for me and a working FMS is one of my main must-haves before I buy addons these days. Please advise accordingly!
Thank you.
Ian.

It's a shame to see that version 4 is worse then version 3. In version 4 the AP is not able to follow the FMC again (like previous versions except V3). The heading selector is connected to the CRS againg. In the FMC the distance to the next waypoint is not recognized (it stays on 1 nm). It doesn't recognize when passing a waypoint. Only pressing DTO to the next waypoint will fix this. As a result, the FMC doesn't know the remaining distance to destination either. I will deinstall V4 and go back to V3.

I can't confirm that. Just happily cruising with Version 4, with FMS/LNAV working fine. Are you sure to have the HSI Switch in RNAV position ?

@Mikealpha Does your fmc DTO function work okay in 1.4 ?

Sorry, I did not use that and just landed. Will try next flight.
@Martyn , only remaining issue for me (besides some FMS stuff ) is the horrible LOC Intercept. Either it turns away from LOC, or it is similar to the attached Screenshot Rwy06 at EDNY. You see the aircraft is already crossing/overflying the LOC, but as you can see on the ADI, there is no attempt to turn. Even when turning at that point, it would massively overshoot it.

@Mikealpha I reinstalled version 4 tonight, and... it worked this time!!! :) . The plane behaves much better and indeed follows the FMS. I liked to fly it, and for the first time my passengers were happy either. The only thing I encountered is the ILS turning away from the right direction instead of turning in the right direction for GS. NAV was selected, the V/L was engaged (button was activated), and on catching the ILS it turned away the wrong direction. Besides from this (and the known FMS issues), I liked this flight and I liked the plane!!!

Great it turned out much better for you now.
I think the plane deserves a custom ILS routine. Currently there is no other choice than to fly the ILS manually. Fortunately it´s a joy to fly it manually.Mike

I'd vote for that too... And would be nice to see the first attempt of some fixes for the FMC, the DTO Bug really spoils online flying :(

@ConcordeAG agreed the DTO is the main fix the fmc needs, sids and stars have easy work around such as request vectors but when getting a dto and you start going off course, atc are quick to pull you up on it.
