Will it be released to in-game Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace?
-
Hi, sorry if this question was already asked. I used to buy planes from ingame marketplace.
@Truffoff Yes, it will. We wait until v1.1 is released to address any initial bugs and add quality of life features. After you see v1.1 released, then the schedule is up to Asobo.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the current pricing structure and Marketplace policies.
For this reason, I would like to request that my available 5,461 reward points be donated to Black Square Simulations. I will no longer be making any further purchases from Just Flight. Perhaps these points can help Black Square Simulations bring their aircraft to the Microsoft Marketplace with less delay.
Please JustFlight transfer my reward points over to BlackSquare.Thank you.
Kind regads

Michael Heel@Michaelh Hi Michael, Can you please explain further what you're dissatisfied with? If you explain, I would be happy to discuss with you, and see what we can do internally. Occasional comments about pricing on Marketplace or 3rd party retailers have come up before, but these things are not always within our control. As for the delay with the marketplace, I always wait until v1.1 (average 2-3 weeks after Just Flight release) to submit for marketplace approval. However, we have encountered wait times as much as 5-6 months to get approval from Asobo/Microsoft for the marketplace. As you read above, one of the last items we receive is the language localization file, which is what's holding up this release too.

Hi Nick,
on pricing: I already laid out my position in detail in the Caravan thread, and I'd rather not rehash it. The bottom line is that I didn't buy the Caravan because of the price discrepancy.
Since I won't be buying aircraft through Just Flight or any other retailer website going forward, my credits are no use to me. I'd like to pass them on to you.
On the delay: the longer a release takes, the less interesting the aircraft becomes. It needs to be hot. Speaking for myself, the Commander has already slipped my mind since release — I've seen the videos, but it's gone again. That's not a good sign coming from someone who likes Black Square.
Five to six months of waiting looks to me like a standoff between retailers and MS. I'm not blaming anyone for that. I'm just noting that Black Square has become less interesting to me, for a few reasons: pricing, marketplace, career mode.
Best regards,
Michael -

MichaelJust to clarify - as per Ts and Cs, Just Rewards have no monetary value. They are a customer loyalty scheme to provide discounts off future purchases. However, as a gesture of goodwill and without prejudice to our liability, we will make a donation of £54.61 on your behalf to the games industry's Special Effect charity
Pricing - just to rehash that for anyone still reading this thread - we pass on the same United States Dollar price to Microsoft as the one displayed on our website. Currency exchange and tax calculations are performed by them and over that we have no control. They only accept a single $ price.
Delays - rather than make our own excuses, herewith the AI overview from Google on the subject:
Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace updates and patches can face approval and release delays ranging from a few weeks to several months.
Why Delays Happen
Approval Backlog:
Microsoft and Asobo manually review every third-party add-on and patch, which can create a significant backlog. Wait times for specific updates have historically stretched from 2–3 weeks up to 5–6 months depending on the developer and queue.
Platform Security:
The in-game marketplace validation process is stricter to ensure platform stability and protect against piracy, particularly across different systems.
New Releases & Patches:
Major simulator transitions (like MSFS 2024) or large add-ons can temporarily stall the general content pipeline as the team prioritizes core platform stability.Managing Marketplace Wait Times
Direct Purchases:
Many flight simmers opt to buy add-ons directly from third-party creators (such as Just Flight, Contrail, or PMDG stores) when available, as external purchases usually receive patches much faster than waiting for Microsoft's marketplace certification.
Track Status:
You can check current processing times and review the weekly rollout queue directly on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace page. -

Thank you for the offer but I only will donate directed at Nick or not.
I don’t know who with whom does what here, but I have the feeling since Black Square “went to bed“ with JF everything got worse concerning BlackSquare. The immense pricing difference (caravan) between JF and and marketplace was the first hint and yes I know you described it but my feelings are my feelings. It all looks too much in favour for JF.
Anyways thank you for the offer and good luck for the future. I won’t bug you anymore about it. I might just come back since sadly BlackSquare has its support here.
Kind regards

You've made that quite plain.

We have been Black Square's publisher since 2021 when we released their first product for MSFS - Real Taxiways.

Making totally unsubstantiated claims about Just Flight engaging in some kind of sharp practice is getting rather tiresome and if you continue with this nonsense it will simply get you (and the other account you use for this rubbish) banned from the forum.
