Any development updates?

Hi,
I'm sorry for being "that guy", but I'm really excited for the A300. While I know that an April release is unlikely, still eagerly waiting for at least some development updates. Will there be anything exciting about the A300 rather soon, like more previews?
Thanks in advance.
Same! The A300 looks so beautiful, XP 11 already got the iniBuilds one and now we will also recieve a good A300. I love it that we will also have a FMS option. Let's hope that we will see it in May. I also can't wait for the Fokker F28, would be nice to hear from this one too, we know more about the A300 than the Fokker F28.

I guess there aren't much development updates yet :(
I just hope the project is going well. -
@BiologicalNanobot Last update suggests they're in the pre-release grind of finding and squashing bugs along with general refinement, so likely no updates until that process is well on the way to being completed.
Advantage is that once that is done there won't be too long before release, and then we can enjoy what is looking to be a very nicely-polished aircraft -
@SimeonWilbury Thank you! While I'm impatient I'd also rather wait to have a finished and nicely-polished aircraft than get an incomplete one early. I was worried that development was stuck on a dead-end, so I guess this is most likely not the case.

There are plenty of projects getting close to completion and we only have a relatively small team so it's a case of priorities too. Stuff like the Turbo Arrow, 146 Professional are all but done but require management tasks to bring them to completion and release state. Whilst that happens not too much more happens to the A300 for instance. Added to that, Martyn, our Head of Development has been spending some time off of late for his paternity leave after becoming a proud dad a week or so back so all those things, and other everyday task, all combine, meaning progress isn't plain sailing at the end of the development process.
We hope to have the A300 wrapped up, tested, and ready for release in May. That's our current belief and target.
Thanks.

@Voice-of-Reason Congratulations to Martyn, paternity leave is very important and I hope he has a good time off with his new child. I hope that the A300 is ready for release in May, but if not, there is at least very good reason behind the delay.
-
@Voice-of-Reason thank you for the insight, and congratulations to Martyn!
-
@Voice-of-Reason Also congratulations to Martyn! By the way, how is the Fokker F28 going? Will we have a release expectation in May? And will we also recieve a Garmin integration´if you want one?
-
@Voice-of-Reason Hate to be a nag, but is May still looking good for release?
Congrats to Martyn as well!

@APJR Don't worry about nagging and we're sorry we've been unable to bring you more updates on the A300. It's not going to be out in May unfortunately. I hope June will be the month though.
Thanks
Aw, you guys are breaking my heart.
Thanks for the update! Fingers crossed for June.

Do you still have hope that June will be the month, or expecting a July release would be more realistic at this point?
Either case, take your time, I am sure it will be worth it.

@Noob21 Yes bug fixing some that are turning into more than simple fixes so more work than originally planned for. Keen to show and tell more there's just not anything to show right now. Will attempt to get an update this week though for you, I know the plan is to still release it as soon as we can. Please bear with and apologies for the delay.
-
@Voice-of-Reason understandable, trying to fix bugs can definitely be like playing a game of whack a mole, you fix one and then suddenly you accidentally borked something else in the code and you have half a dozen more you have to go back and fix, or you find yourself going down a rabbit hole of bug after bug after looking into one. I do wish the development team the best, waiting so long for such a heavily anticipated aircraft can be quite stressful though, and I’m mildly disappointed that it wasn’t able to come out while I was out of work and had plenty of time to get to know the aircraft.

@ftwd judging by how much publicity has preceded pretty much all of the previous releases as of late, I can’t imagine they’re planning some sort of stealth release of the A300. My birthday is tomorrow and I’d absolutely love to have the A300 on my hard drive but miracles are unlikely.
