Headphone mode doesn't affect all sounds
-
I know that noise cancelling headphones work better on steady noises like engines rather than sudden one off noises, but things like the cockpit switches don't seem to be affected at all when the headphone mode is on. Not deadened or filtered in any way.
Could you amend this in the coming update please? I'm not sure if it's the same for the Caravan which I also own but I'd assume so.

@tlvid This is the intended behavior. If you wanted all sounds to be quieter, the assumption is that you would lower the volume on your computer. The headphone simulation is designed to lower the volume of background sounds while retaining high contrast interaction sounds.

What I think he is trying to say that if you were wearing headphones in a plane that the click of switches and thumps of detents should be as clear and loud. In the sim the engine is muted but when you flip switches you can hear them as clearly as if you weren't wearing a headset, if I'm understanding him right.

@Kestrel21 That's my understanding too. My intention is to offer the enhanced volume and clarity of the interaction sounds while using headphone simulation as a replacement for the haptic feedback that you would receive in the real aircraft.
