Not deadened or filtered in any way.</p>
<p dir="auto">Could you amend this in the coming update please? I'm not sure if it's the same for the Caravan which I also own but I'd assume so.</p>

My intention is to offer the enhanced volume and clarity of the interaction sounds while using headphone simulation as a replacement for the haptic feedback that you would receive in the real aircraft.</p>

In the sim the engine is muted but when you flip switches you can hear them as clearly as if you weren't wearing a headset, if I'm understanding him right.</p>

If you wanted all sounds to be quieter, the assumption is that you would lower the volume on your computer.  The headphone simulation is designed to lower the volume of background sounds while retaining high contrast interaction sounds.</p>
