Price Difference for Bonanza Professional on Xbox

It’s 2026 now, and if the last update was in 2024, it’s definitely time for a new one

Attached are some pictures of the Bonanza as it looks on the Xbox Series X in MSFS 2024 — and you tell me how anyone is supposed to fly it like this. Thanks.

That’s exactly my question. Will there be an update for 2024? There’s no discount for the new version, and this aircraft is basically only good for the trash bin in 2024
This product isn't a complete aircraft - it's an update to one of the default planes in MSFS2020. So, it's not possible to adapt it for MSFS2024 because the default aircraft is different. The Analog titles still work fine in MSFS2020. There are completely new versions of the Analog gauge aircraft for FS2024 and a small discount on these was offered to Analog owners that bought from the Just Flight and other retail sites. However, as discussed above, these are completely separate products from the original cockpit updates and therefore it's not possible to provide a discount on MarketPlace sales.

Thanks. So now I basically have an aircraft for the trash, since it won’t run on the 2024 version and nothing is being done to make it work — unless I buy a new one for 50 euros. Is that correct?
- You don't have an aircraft - you have some software that adapts and upgrades an existing aircraft in MSFS2020. The original price reflected that.
- The software you bought for MSFS2020 still works in MSFS2020.
- There is a completely new version of the Bonanza (and the Baron) for MSFS2024. These are complete aircraft, not upgrades to a default aircraft, and these are sold separately on the MSFS MarketPlace.

I’m still trying to stay polite. I don’t care whether it’s an aircraft or ‘just’ software — it doesn’t work in the 2024 version, and I no longer use the 2020 version. So basically I now have an aircraft (software) for the trash. Thank you for this business policy.
I also don’t care whether the price reflects anything — the money is gone, and the aircraft/software doesn’t work in the current sim. I really have to think about whether I should keep buying aircraft/software from this company. -

I'm afraid that has always been part of the experience. We (and very few other publishers) would ever specifically guarantee any title could be updated to work in a future version of a game. In this case it is impossible.
The software isn't 'for the trash' any more than your copy of 2020 was 'for the trash' when you bought a new and different version of the game from Microsoft.I really can't add any more to this and will leave other forum users to chip in if they wish.

That said, the product you bought was advertised as an upgrade for a msfs2020 aircraft utilizing the sounds and visual model of the default 2020 baron. Since the 2020 baron is not in msfs2024 it is not possible to simply port the product over. As such black square made an entirely new product utilizing its own custom model, sounds, flight model, and all the new black square features/ realism. Any black square aircraft that received a free upgrade was because that aircraft already utilized its own custom assets.
