    Paul,

    I just did some further checking and found the problem only is occurring when I am using P3Dv4. It works fine in FSX.

    Even more interesting, Tom - P3Dv4 is my primary sim, it's where I did most of the development and where I went to check!

    Really not sure what's going on there - have you tried assigning a key to left brake and to right brake to see if the application of full brake either side creates the same response as you are seeing through the axes?

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Paul,
    I am not sure what you mean by assigning a key to each brake. How would I do that? Sorry I am getting along in years old and don't understand things quiet so easily any more...grin

    Just go into the P3D 'Options' menu, down to the 'controls' section on the left and select 'Key Assignments'. In the right column now, only a very short way down from the top, are "Brakes (Apply Left)" and "Brakes (Apply Right)". Select the first and assign it a key, do the same for the second, then head into the sim and try out the left and right brakes using the keys you have selected.

    I'm curious to see if applying full brake without a controller axis gives you the same result as you see with your brake pedal.

    Paul,

    I decided to stay up and work on it. The options menu already had Left* and the right-. I then took out both assignments and left them blank. It still wanted to turn hard to the right. I then assigned Left 0 and right 9. This seemed to work quite a bit better.
    I hope this helps to figure out what is wrong.

    Hi Tom,

    If, using the keyboard brakes (0 and 9 for you) the reaction is identical to the left and to the right then it confirms that the problem has to be with your pedals. There is nothing different being used in the aircraft between the brakes applied by the keys and the brakes being applied by the pedals - the aircraft is constant so the problem must lie with the external element.

    All I can suggest is that you recalibrate the brake axes on your controller and make sure that you don't have any unwanted profiles set that could cause left and right to work differently (particularly if you are using a registered copy of FSUIPC).

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    And check that your right brake axis isn't somehow applying full right brake - operating like a keypress rather than a smooth axis.

    @Delta558

    Hi Paul,

    I do have a registered FSUIPC. I also Have Precision Flight Controls.
    I will keep looking.

    @Delta558 Hello
    I have the same problem: two breaks different but more importantly excessive braking when I start pressing my pedals (saitek rudder pedals). This doesn't happen in any other addons
